Shop These 15 Small Businesses This Black Friday Weekend

Can I keep it real with you? Okay good. Last year was my first time taking advantage of Small Business Saturday. It's easy to get caught up in big company's ads for cheap TV's and all that, but what you're missing out on is the amazing deals smaller businesses are running. Since starting my influencer journey, I've been introduced to quite a few small businesses that are absolutely killing it. I've gotten to know the owners behind the brand and I've tried their products out for myself. The personal touch each of these 15 businesses I'm going to share with you puts behind their brands is 100% unique to them. If you take advantage of these wonderful deals by picking something up for yourself, as gifts, or both, I know you'll receive items made with pride, packaged with care, and you'll receive with excitement. I wanted to create an easy way for you to shop some of my favorite small businesses this holiday season while also providing you wit

Vela's Christmas Wishlist

There's no way I could go this holiday season without including Vela's Christmas wishlist. Let's be honest, the majority of my Christmas shopping is for this little cutie, and oh my is her list long this year (thanks a lot Frozen 2)! It's soo fun now that Vela is three, she understands what the holidays are about and her excitement is infectious. I put this gift guide together based on gifts Vela has asked for, her interests, fun activities for the family, and items she physically circled in the toy catalogs we received in the mail. Vela has a wide range of interests, everything from makeup and princesses to dinosaurs and trucks. I believe this is true with most toddlers, and I know you'll find something for the toddlers in your life.  I shopped multiple retailer's websites, finding some really unique gift options along with the cheapest prices on popular toys this season. I linked lots of options that are $14.99 and under. When you shop through my l

Sephora Holiday Gift Guide

*Updated 12/13/2019* It's the most wonderful time of the year for Sephora deals! If anyone understands the struggle of how expensive Sephora can be, it's me! I've been a Rouge Member since 2012. If you don't know what that means, look it up and don't tell Matt. It's safe to say I know my way around a good Sephora deal and the biggest bang for your buck is through the value sets. "What's the big deal with value sets?!" Soo glad you asked! A lot of beauty brands offer value sets specifically around the holidays as a great gift option and a way to try multiple products of theirs on the cheap. With most value sets you'll save at least 30% off the bat upwards of 50-70%  when they go on sale. I've picked up value sets around the holidays for years. I discovered some of my favorite products this way. Now that I pretty much know what brands and products I like, I'll pick out a value set that already has a product or two that I know I l

My Quick Glam Routine: Video Tutorial

My most favorite thing about makeup is the ability to enhance my features while faking glowy skin. The makeup routine I've been favoring the most lately gives me exactly that. It makes me feel soo beautiful and it lasts all day. Today I bring you that glam routine via voice-over video - my very first one! I'm curious to see what you think about this style of filming and editing so please let me know. I, unfortunately, wasn't able to post the video directly to this post, but tap on any of the highlighted words like this one to watch. As you may know, I'm now apart of the liketoknow.it family. This makes it easy for you to shop my favorite products while giving me the opportunity to make a small commission. I've added the links to all the products I used in this video that's offered under the liketoknow.it umbrella. All you have to do is tap the product picture of whatever you're interested in, making it super easy. You can also follow me ove

JORD Watches

Okay friends, I have a confession to make - I have a watch addiction. Well, it's more accurate to say I used to have a watch addiction. It's funny how children change things like that for a person. I'd buy at least one new watch every year and I'm talking about a Fossil, Micheal Kors, or Coach watch to be more specific. They were my babies, my collectibles, a token of a job well done with amazing bonuses; they look bomb and I always know the time. When Vela was about six-month-old I stopped wearing my watches because I was afraid she'd slobber all over them and ruin them. Last fall when we bought our house, I very carefully packed them away and never unpacked them. When JORD reached out to me about a potential collaboration, a spark went off in my mind.   WATCHES !  My first love, how have I forgotten about you? I combed through their website mesmerized by all the unique wooden watches they offer. I knew right then that this collaboration would be perfect for
